Cloudops Brand Identity & Website
Outsourced IT company Figure8 has been working with big Kiwi companies for years when they decided to venture into the SME market with their new offering, Cloudops. As senior designer at Amplifier Design I art directed and designed the Cloudops brand identity.
We identified that the brand needed to be approachable, trustworthy, and not overly technical, and so delivered a fun logo, brand assets and key messaging. The bespectacled character formed by the O & P of the logo plays up to the 'IT nerd' stereotype which, alongside the bright & fresh colour palette, injects a sense of humour into the identity without compromising on the brand values of trust and expertise.
We followed this up with a website which I built in Squarespace to maximise the client's small budget, using custom CSS to ensure the website was fully responsive and user friendly across different devices.
